Well last night I googled "swollen axolotl" as one of my axies, Merlin, had been looking bloated for a while and I couldn't figure out why. She was eating fine, a little sluggish, but always eager for the next feed. So I came across this website, and in particular an entry from one Axolsquadl, who suggested I put her in the fridge for 3 days and she should pass whatever was blocking her up. I was very hesitant at first, as it seemed quite weird, put an axolotl in the fridge!
